Cordell Hull: Native Son, Nobel Peace Prize Winner and “Father of the United Nations”

The event will include a reception, music program, lunch, and the speakers, Ms. Robin Peeler, Manager of the Cordell Hull Birthplace Historic Park, and Mr. Mack Prichard, Tennessee State Naturalist.

Robin Peeler is currently Park Manager for Cordell Hull Birthplace and Alvin C. York State Parks. She has been with Tennessee State Parks for 13 years and has also worked at Radnor Lake State Natural Area and Pickett State Park. She is a forestry and wildlife graduate of Virginia Tech and is currently in graduate school for biology at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville.

As Tennessee’s State Naturalist, Mack Prichard has traveled extensively across the State and has been the recipient of numerous awards, the most recent of which was Senate Resolution 1007, signed by Governor Bredesen on May 24, 2008, commending Mr. Prichard’s half-century as “The Conservation conscience” of Tennessee and conferring on him the title Tennessee State Park Naturalist Emeritus “at such time as he decides to retire.”
