David Watschke holds an MBA in finance from the University of Denver.

David is a Director in West Monroe’s Organization & People practice (“O&P”) who specializes in HR technologies, HR / people issues in M&A activity, talent analytics, workforce planning, organizational design, culture analysis and overall project management of the HR function. David has 14 years of consulting experience advising on organization and people related issues participating in over 400 buy/sell side transactions for strategic and private equity buyers/sellers, spanning pre- and post-close due diligence, separation, stand-up, and integration analyses for complex, global deals.

Prior to joining West Monroe, David helped Ernst & Young stand-up and manage the project management office (“PMO”) during the three-way split of an $85 billion multi-national aerospace and technology company, directing 13 HR workstreams, HR contracts, HR programs, HR processes, and HR systems/technology for 205 thousand employees located in 180 countries. David also spearheaded the organization and tracking of the hiring of one thousand back-office employees for the respective business units across all functions.

Previously in his career, David worked in New York for Alvarez and Marsal and Mercer Consulting.
