Ernest Fosu is a Ghanaian-born emerging professional dedicated to fostering cross-cultural understanding and global collaboration. With a strong passion for international engagement, he is committed to building bridges between diverse communities through dialogue, policy and inclusive development.
Ernest possesses substantive leadership experience in non-governmental organization (NGO) project management, where he has contributed to the planning, coordination and implementation of development-oriented initiatives. His work in this area reflects a capacity for effective stakeholder engagement, cross-cultural communication and program execution within complex and diverse environments. In addition, Ernest serves as a volunteer with the American Red Cross of Tennessee as a Shelter Service Associate. In this role, he supports humanitarian emergency response operations through field-level service delivery, coordination and client support, contributing to the protection and well-being of disaster-affected populations.
He is currently pursuing graduate studies in International Affairs at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), with academic concentrations in international development, humanitarian aid, international law and nonprofit governance. He was recently elected as a Senator in the MTSU Student Government Association, where he works to advance legislation that amplifies student voices, with particular attention to the needs and experiences of international students across campus.
With a long-term career vision in international development, Ernest aspires to work with global institutions and policy organizations to advance sustainable development, human rights and inclusive governance. Through his involvement with the United Nations Association of the United Staes of America, Nashville Cordell Hull Chapter, he seeks to actively contribute to initiatives that promote global cooperation and meaningful local impact.
