Linell

Linell is an international educator having taught in China for ten years (International School of Guangzhou and School of the Nations – Macau) and the Philippines for four years (International School Manila) where she was one of the Model United Nations (MUN) advisors for three years. Linell taught online in Iran via the Baha’i Institute for Higher Education for three years, and currently teaches English as a Second Language (ESL) in the Murfreesboro City Schools District. She is a co-founder of Intercultural Awareness and Education Experience (IAEE), a nonprofit which sponsors the ‘Boro International Festival, MTSU Chinese Summer Camps, and several indigenous awareness events such as the upcoming Echoes from the Trail of Tears Art Show in Cannon County, TN. In addition, she volunteers her time teaching English to refugee adults in their home. She was a presenter at the 2019 Parliament of the World’s Religions (PoWR) in Toronto, Canada, and has been invited to present again at the 2023 PoWR in Chicago, Illinois, USA in August. Linell holds a Master of Science in Education from Missouri State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Native American Studies from Montana State University.
