Take Action

In partnership with the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) and our own partners, The United Nations Association Nashville Cordell Hull chapter empowers Tennesseans to advocate for the United Nations and the Sustainable Development Goals. Below are a number of ways to get involved.

Voice Your Support to Congress for Strong U.S. Leadership at the UN

Whether it’s standing up for human rights, eliminating extreme poverty, putting an end to human trafficking, combating climate change, or protecting refugees, the UN is working to build a brighter future by confronting the planet’s most complex challenges – but it can’t do it alone.

Donate to the UN’s Ukraine Humanitarian Fund

Donate to UNOCHA’s Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF) working on the ground in Ukraine and at its borders to provide critical support and assistance to people in Ukraine.

Support Action on Climate Change

The latest United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report shows that even temporarily exceeding global warming of 1.5°C (2.7°F) will severely impact nature, some of which will be irreversible. We have the knowledge and technology to address climate change, but we cannot wait! As we approach COP27, we must fulfill our commitments to the next generation, particularly by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
